Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (use low sodium if preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish chopped green onions and sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Add sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss until the cauliflower is well coated with the mixture.
  4. Place the seasoned cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy. If you prefer it extra crispy, leave it in for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Once done, remove from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

💡 Chef's Notes

For extra crispiness, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
