1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 large egg

1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

      In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

        Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until fully combined.

          Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

            Gently fold in the finely chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips (if using) until evenly distributed.

              Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie as they will spread slightly.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers appear set.

                  Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

                    Dust the cooled cookies with powdered sugar before serving for a delightful finishing touch.
