1large loafcrusty bread (e.g., sourdough or Italian)
0.5cupunsalted butter, melted
4clovesgarlic, minced
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
0.5cupgrated Parmesan cheese
2tablespoonsfresh parsley, chopped
1teaspoongarlic powder
to tastesalt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the loaf of bread on a cutting board and, using a serrated knife, make cuts in the bread every 1-inch, being careful not to cut all the way through to the bottom.
Gently open up the cuts in the bread and brush the garlic butter mixture generously in between the slices.
Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses into the slits of the bread, ensuring that each slice is filled with cheesy goodness.
Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the top of the loaf and sprinkle with chopped parsley for a pop of color.
Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then pull apart and serve warm.
