black tea

ripe peach, sliced

tablespoon
fresh ginger, grated

tablespoons
honey
1
juice
lemon
as needed
ice cubes

fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags and grated ginger. Let it steep for about 5-7 minutes.
After steeping, remove the tea bags and strain out the ginger pieces.
Stir in the honey and lemon juice while the tea is still warm to help dissolve the honey.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.
Once the tea is chilled, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea over the ice.
Add the sliced peaches to each glass for flavor and garnish with fresh mint if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Ginger Peach Iced Tea!
